A fine example of a Victorian oil lamp with a clear beval cut glass bowl.This lamp has a tall hand cut and polished marble stem in combination with a solid brass square base.

Today you can buy odourless and smokeless lamp oil.Also you can add various coloured dyes to the oil so that the clear glass body looks more attractive.
