Here we have an attractive and unusual children's oil lamp. The body, or oil reserve, is designed as a white feathered parrot with stunning red eyes and brown beak.
This lamp was made in Germany towards the end of the Victorian period, circa 1880 and is complete with glass shade, funnel, and an unused wick.

The height from the base to the top of the funnel is 37 centimeters or 14.5 inches. The diameter of the glass shade is 15 centimeters or 6 inches.

The condition of all the pieces is first class, with no chips cracks or repairs.
