Victorian English Silver Masonic Medal c1868
A very nice Antique, Victorian English Silver Ancient Order of Foresters Masonic Medal.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "EL" for Ezekiel Loewenstark, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria) and date letter "m" for 1867/68.
It is complete with a presentation case from The Northern Goldsmiths Company, Blackett Street, Newcastle upon Tyne.
The rear of the medal engraved with the following presentation inscription
Presented to Bro. James Pauling by Court 1751 as a mark of respect for past services as C.R. July 1st 1868.
