This antique boot scraper is an original Victorian piece, and has the Victorian diamond on the base (although the details are no longer legible). It is of nice quality with a nice shape and design. It has been later over-painted in white. There are no legible maker's marks.
Condition: Overall in fair condition with some wear consistent with age and use. The piece has the grubbiness and wear that you might expect of an antique item that has been outside for a number of years. The piece has some significant surface rusting and corrosion. The paintwork is later and is heavily chipped, scratched and worn.
