Very Large Pair Of Brass Column Table Lamps
A really super pair of large brass column lamps on round stepped bases, finished with a linen braided cord flex.
This pair of lamps are of generous proportions, so they will look amazing on a large sideboard or perhaps corner lamp antique tables. I have shown them on a 140cm wide desk to give a sense of proportion.
The lamps have been well used over their years, so they are nicely tarnished and there are also various knocks and bumps to their bases as shown in the photos. In my opinion, this gives them real character and makes them even more decorative, showing they have had a good long life and are solid, heavy and have been lightly cleaned and buffed.
Both have been fully rewired too. The shades are also just examples and not included in the price as they are just my "prop" shades...details below
Priced as the pair.
Measuring:
33 1/2 inches or 85 cm to the top of the shades
24 inches or 61 cm to the bulb holder
2 inches or 5 cm diameter column
9 3/4 inches or 25 cm diameter base
14 inch is or 35.5 cm diameter example shades Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
