Unusual 9CT Gold Masonic Fob, c1919
A relatively rare, 9CT Gold Masonic Fob for a pocket watch albert chain.
The fob has full English hallmarks for 9CT solid gold consisting of the maker's mark "JMcM"(probably for J McMenamin Ltd, jewellers, St Enoch Square, Glasgow ), "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold, the Birmingham "anchor" town mark and date letter "u" for 1919/20.
The fob has a design registration number "Rd 674095" stamped to the base.
A lovely item in excellent condition, a nice one for the collector of Masonic related items.
It measures 28mm in height (including the suspension loop) and 21mm wide. The weight is 2.8g Specialists in Antique Pocket Watches & Vintage Wristwatches, Jewellery, Silver (including Scottish Provincial),Good Quality Antiques & Works of Art.
