Two Forfar Robert Burns Club Silver Medals c1930
Two George V, Cased Burns Federation Silver Medals awarded by the Forfar Burns Club in consecutive years 1930 and 1931.
The medals "Presented by the Forfar Burns Club" - one medal dated 1930, the other 1931.
Apart from the date the medals otherwise identical.
They were both made by the same maker, hallmarked with the maker's mark "WJD" for William James Dingley, Warstone Lane, Birmingham, alongside the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Birmingham "anchor" town mark and date letter. One medal with date letter "E" for 1929/30, the later with date letter "F" for 1930/31.
They measure approximately 40mm in height and the weight is 12.8g each.
