Ship's Electric Gimbal Lamps - Solid brass examples with an attractive weighted gimbal and marked AP9009 & PLAYMIT. These lamps could be used on a table or mounted on a bulkhead or wall in a horizontal position. While not dated this pattern was in service with the Royal Navy in WW11. The lamps have been recently rewired and are complete with a 13 amp plugs and shades. These examples would date to the early 20th century.
