This is a fabulous and most unusual piece, in absolutely gorgeous vintage condition. This is a bit special, this natural butterfly wing set to a solid sterling silver oval frame under a slightly convex glass cover. Appropriately marked for Gourdel Vales & Co respected silversmith of Birmingham England, I have never seen one with such an exquisite wing and the size at 1.5/8" inch long is superb, and this is in the best of conditions - very attractive and sure to delight the most discerning of buyers!

These fine pieces are becoming highly collectable and so difficult to find.
