Very elegant early 20th.c. Regency style brass standard lamp c.1920. Unusual design with the bulb over on a pale green blue painted egg-shaped sphere in tin, mounted with Classical anthemion motifs, vases and laurel swags in brass. Over ram’s heads and floral garlands all raised on a fluted column at the centre of three flat supports. Circular plinth painted to match, with brass acanthus and swag mounts and raised on paw feet. Minor wear to the painted sections, otherwise excellent condition. Cleaned, rewired and PAT tested.
