Regency Rosewood Tea Caddy. Complete.
Good Regency rosewood veneered tea caddy in very good original condition. The outside of the box is veneered in beautifully grained rosewood veneers with knurled rosewood decoration to the top. Mother-of-pearl escution, original turned rosewood side handles and feet. The box retains its original lock with working key.
The inside retains both its original tea boxes with a very nice period cut glass mixing bowl which is definitely contemporary but possibly not original as it is a fraction small for the recess.
All in all this is a very nice Scottish tea caddy in very good condition. No veneer repairs.
