Very Rare Shoe Case, Steamer Trunk for Shoes Steam Punk

This is a very rare piece for the traveler who has everything else, it is a double thickness case, each side holds 6 pairs of shoes, 12 pairs in all, the shoe pockets are lined in linen
The case is a 19th century piece in leather with metal banding made by “The innovation Trunk Co” it is in good condition for its age
The case is 24” high, 18” wide and 9” deep
