Pr.Ormolu Classical Ladies Table Lamps Silk Shades
We are delighted to offer this delightful pair of 19th Century French Ormolu Figurine Table Lamps, with new embroidered silk shades from the makers of the Downton Abbey and similar series lampshades.
The bases comprise Ormolu figurines of Ladies clad in Classical draperies and carrying sheaves of corn in their arms, standing on ebonised wooden bases.
The shades are in the 'Ballerina' style and are made of pale coffee coloured silk, embroidered with flowers and leaves in shades of gold. They are trimmed with gold braid and the gold fringe is overlaid with delicate strands of beads shading with cream to gold.
The lamps have been rewired with antique gold coloured three core braided flex and have all new fittings, including plug, shade carrier and safer switched lampholder. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that they be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
Height to top of shade: 20 1/2" - 52cm
Diameter of shade: 11" - 28cm
Diameter of base: 3 1/2" - 8.9cm
Condition: Excellent. The shades are new.
