Remarkable pair of vintage six foot tall versions of the classic traditional painted wooden soldier nutcracker c.1970. Working versions, simply lift the handle in the back to open the mouths. In solid wood, very well painted and complete with raised moustaches, fuzzy black bearskins, white hair and beards and swords hung at their sides. Some old damage to the paintwork, otherwise excellent condition.
