A stunning pair of antique lacquered chinoiserie marble top side tables. They were likely made in England in the oriental style, they date from around the 1950’s.

The quality is superb, they are beautifully designed and are a very useful size. The black lacquered and gold embellished finish is full of character and charm, they have lovely green marble tops that sit loose on the frames. There are wooden blocks under the marble tops that stop them from sliding off.

They are in excellent all round condition for their age, with some minor surface wear here and there, mostly around the brass lower edges, which show some wear and patina.
