We are offering for sale this very ornately embossed gilt brass Table Lamp and new shade from the makers of the Downton Abbey, Mr. Selfridge, Peaky Blinders etc. lampshades.

The lamp has a circular base shaped column which terminates in a capital, all intricately embossed in gilt brass.

The shade is in the Paris style and has central panels in black moire silk and side panels in a gold, black and ivory fabric, It is trimmed with gold fringe, overlaid with black and gold beads on the corners, black and gold beaded tassels on the points and is finished with a black and gold braid.

The lamp has been completely rewired with gold coloured braided fabric covered flex in the antique style and has all new fittings, including safer switched lampholder, shade carrier and plug. As with all electrical items it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.

Height to top of shade: 27" - 68.55cm

Shade: 14" - 35.55cm square

Diameter of base: 8" - 20.25cm

Condition: Excellent. The base is in excellent condition and the shade is new.
