A unusual, and very heavy, wooden painted Bertie Basset sign advertising standing 28” high, 16” deep and 16” across.

Bertie Bassett is the mascot for Liqourice Allsorts originally made by Bassetts. George Bassett founded the company in Sheffield in 1842 - it is now owned by Kraft foods. Bertie became the mascot of the company in 1929.
