I have had a couple of small examples of a Scottie Dog money box over the years but never such a large impressive example

Made from a white metal, the dog is painted including a charming little collar. There is a slot at the top for coins to be inserted and then can be removed from the hinged head of the dog. The catch is secured with a novelty metal "padlock", with a push catch. The two original large glass eyes are intact.

Excellent condition with very little loss to the original paint. 9" nose to tail x 2 3/4" x 6 7/8" tall.
