Large gilt oval Trafalgar overmantle mirror
Circa 1810 water gilded of especially large proportions in the Trafalgar vogue, the frame profusely decorated with applied rope-work enclosing an exceptional original plate.
The frame has been restored yet retains the desired level of distressing and ware to be found on a 200 year old mirror.
(NB. following triumph at Trafalgar all things naval were the fashion)
