Great size original French late c19th gilt overmantle mirror with its original mirror glass...circa 1880 in the Louis Philippe style
At this height, you could certainly use this as a full length dressing mirror, or cheval mirror standing on the floor
The frame has aged well with lots of the original water gilding present, but also through time, the red gesso has come through too making a great decorative mirror, suitable to hang on its own or place it on a mantle too
