An elegant circa 1910 large oak and brass strapped fitted travelling trunk.

This is an excellent opportunity, as these pieces are extremely rare and hard to get hold of.

Many of these trunks have been used for shop displays, featuring internal drawers and pull out slides, however, this one would also make a substantial coffee table for any country interior.

The item was purchased from a large country residence in East Yorkshire.

The trunk is in good condition, but the inside does have some marks, signs or wear and tear, and a slight musty smell.

This fantastic piece of antique furniture would be a great addition to any large living room or bedroom.
