carved wooden standard lamp the original shade having been re-upholstered above the brass lamp fitting which can be adjusted to reading height. The carved stem having masked cherubs and foliating carving to the base, on a circular foliate carved platform terminating in hairy paw feet. (The lamp at some stage would have been converted from oil burner)
