Very large 19th century Indian bowl on stand, c1880. Beautifully cast and very heavy at 8.5kg the bowl stands on tripod Elephant supports which are wonderfully modelled with raised trunks and open mouths. The bowl is stunning, profusely decorated with Hindu deities and symbols. A substantial piece which has real presence and decorative appeal. Overall condition is good with only minor surface wear.
