Kurdish tribes of north west persia,
first quarter 20th century. Big sized long rug often referred to in the trade as a kelleh. Central alternating design of botehs on a dark blue ground. Has nice twin yellow coloured borders. Hand washed and de-dusted. Pile is good has had approx half a dozen professional reweaves and reinforced from rear with hessian patches. All imaged. Priced accordingly. Ends and sides are secure. Big carpet for the money. 10 foot 2 inches by 5 foot 5 inches. 311cm X 166cm. At widest points. Fringes not measured in size. All woollen construction. U. K post £25,
