Elegant Pair Of Satinwood Table Lamps
A very elegant and super quality pair of carved and fluted solid satinwood lamps with ebonised plinths, circa 1900 and in very good condition. Both fully re wired and ready to use.
Well proportioned pair of lamps which although they are quite tall, their tapering columns leading down to their bases give them a lighter feel. I have shown them with example shades and also on a French buffet sideboard to give them some perspective.
To the top of the columns you have a blind fret style carved finial.
The satinwood contrasting beautifully with the rich ebonised plinth bases.
Re wired using an antique bronze tone braided cord and have a standard bayonet bulb fitting.
Please note, the shades are not included, but the ticket price does include delivery within mainland UK.
Measuring:
25 inches or 63.5 cm height to the bulb holder
6 3/4 inches or 17 cm diameter base
35 1/2 inches or 90 cm height to the top of example shades
15 3/4 inches or 47 cm diameter of example shades Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
