Edwardian Oak Cased Barograph
An early 20th century Edwardian oak and bevelled glass cased barograph.
The brass base plate of the barograph has the maker's name J Morton & Co, 110 Bothwell St Glasgow.
The barograph has a clockwork revolving drum that holds the recording chart with the nib drawing a continuous line in ink showing the rise and fall of barometric pressures.
There is a rack that holds the spare ink bottle and a slim drawer in the base that holds recording charts.
The barograph is in good working condition and has recently been overhauled.
There are a few old ink marks to the case and the barograph comes with spare ink and recording charts. (Circa 1910)
