A very rare and complete set of 12 Gilbey's Gin coasters from 1954 titled 'The Signs We Drink Under'. Line drawn illustrations after linocuts, designed, and each one initialed 'EB' by Edward Bawden. A description of each sign is included on the reverse of each coaster and reproduced on the back of the frame. The set is beautifully displayed and was recently displayed at The Higgins Museum Bedford.
