Carel Van Laere Leiden "Pig & Piglets" Marzipan Mould Chocolate Chocolate Marzipan/chocolate Mold of a Mummy Pig feeding her piglets by Carel van Laere Leiden, the Netherlands ca 1950 Aluminum alloy 9cm high and 12 cm wide, one of Carel Van Laere Leiden rarer moulds. Carel van Laere created many original molds and produced them commercially for use in bakeries and confectioners' shops. He used an aluminum alloy so the molds would not rust. some molds are made in segments so different colors could be used for parts of the figures,others are 1 piece. A beautiful piece.
