Brass Corinthian Column Standard Lamp and Shade
We are delighted to offer for sale this quality solid brass Victorian Corinthian Column Standard/Floor Lamp and stunning shade from the makers who provide the lampshades for Downton Abbey.
The lamp has a solid brass stepped and cushioned base with ball and claw feet, rising to a tall square plinth, ornamented with laurel wreaths, upon which is a circular socle, from which emanates a reeded black column, topped with a brass capital. The lamp is adjustable in height with a rise and fall mechanism.
The shade is black silk with embroidered dragonflies in gold metallic thread. The gold fringe is overlaid with black/gold beaded droplets and the shade is completed with a matching black and gold braid.
The lamp has new heavy duty fabric covered flex and all new fittings and, as with all electrical items, it is recommended it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
Height to top of shade 67 1/2" - 171.45
Width of shade 23" - 58.45cm
Diameter of base foot to foot 13 1/2" - 34.25cm
Condition Excellent. The shade is new.
