Bookmark - Negro / Blackamoor - Scottish Agate
A rare and fabulous little brass bookmark dating to the late Victorian era.
What of course makes this a special piece is the stunning finial in the form of a Negro / Blackamoor head backed with a polished sphere of Scottish agate. He retains his two tiny cabochon red glass eyes.
A real stunner in excellent condition measuring 3 3/4" in length x 1" x 3/4". c.1890.
