Stylish modernist or art deco lounge suite c.1945. Streamlined ‘cloud’ two seater sofa and matching pair of armchairs in original tan leatherette covers. Sprung seat with loose seat cushions. Oak feet and castors. Maker’s label for Palace Royal Products of Rhyl here in North Wales. Also a CC41 label for the government’s wartime ‘Utility’ scheme which controlled the use of raw material in British manufacturing from 1941 until its abolition in 1952. Excellent condition with no tears or repairs to the upholstery. The cushions have been freshly recovered.
