This is a beautiful and unusual Yalameh carpet from Central Persia.It has a compartmentalised field of hooked medallions enclosed by narrow diamond borders. The carpet has an attractive colour palette of indigo, mid blue and coral and had attractive natural coloured fringes. It is in excellent condition and measures 233cms by 131 cms.
