This is an antique mounted school bell. An English, bronze bell on oak and pine plinth, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.

Of superb proportion and Georgian appeal
Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order
Well-aged bronze bell shows dark patination and tonality
Suspended upon an articulated oak yoke, resting within cast iron bracket arms

Mounted upon a dark stained pine base board of generous width
Supplied with a quality, later 'Sally' bell rope in bright red, blue and white
Can be used at a comfortable height of 6' to 12' by unwinding the rope
