A very fine example of an Orivit/ WMF Gilt Pewter and Green Glass Spirit Decanter. So very rare to find this stunning piece with it's original Gilt finish! The very dramatic, high handled decanter features foliate form designs to the stopper and the handle while the neck has a swag to the front. The base rim has a more "swirling liquid" style design. Measures 12 " tall. The decanter is unmarked and I have seen these attributed to both WMF and Orivit. My gut feeling is that it is an Orivit piece because of the design similarities with the wonderful large stoneware and pewter jardinieres that that company produced (often with a gilt finish too, always unmarked).
