Impressive late 19th.c. brass standard lamp c.1880. Adapted from an oil lamp it retains the original brass reservoir held in a lovely pierced and chased spelter bowl decorated with putti and flowers. Adjustable in height from 64″ to 76″ on a telescopic brass column and elaborately cast brass tripod base with birds claw feet. Excellent condition, cleaned, rewired and sold with a PAT test certificate.
