This is a lovely 19th century painted tea caddy in the Sheraton style. It has a sarcophagus shape painted with ribbons and swags of flowers, with a band of laurel leaves. Inside there are twin lids. It sits on bone feet with a bone pull at the top. It measures 16.5cm high, 28.2cm wide, 13.8cm deep.
