A stunning large 1930’s French Art Deco Spelter Lady and Dog Group, by Uriano. The lady, sitting with arms outstretched, has a lovely dark golden patina. She is dressed in a bronze coloured short dress with strap off the shoulder and facing a very typical Uriano figure of a mastiff dog again with a good patina. Mounted on a heavy base of grey, black and cream/brown richly-veined marble.

Excellent antique condition with no apparent damage to either figure. One tiny rubbed area of patina on lady’s lower back/hip (see photo). The marble base has a few very minor age-related surface marks and nibbles.

Size Base ~ 445 x 130 x 68mm. Overall height ~ 285mm. Weight ~ 7.3kg.
