Georgian iron bound oak travelling decanter box
Oak boarded box with iron strapwork ,lock and side handles.
The interior with six compartments and a central glass holder compartment with traces of victorian paper lining.
One glass bottle and a funnel shaped glass on a plain stem both with snapped pontil to base.
large lockplate to front,the front board of the lid slightly overhangs the front so the hasp of the lock just sits to the front when closed.
A good understated vernacular item with a good colour and rustic charm.
