Imposing 18th century brass armorial dish, possibly Dutch, showing a shield flanked by lions rampant, surmounted by a crown.
Worked in repousse with punchwork decoration.
In good country house condition, with minor damage, reflected in the price.
Similar to the armorial dish shown in the British Museum's Round the World in 100 objects
