Impressively large refectory dining table in ash c.1950. Very nearly eight feet long, big enough to seat 10 people. 94½" x 31" top made from three 2" thick ash boards of particularly good grain. Note the pegged joints on the top. Raised on shaped ends with sledge feet, joined with a long centre stretcher with unusually shaped wedges holding the tusk tenons in place. Some old woodworm holes, treated and filled. Otherwise very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
