Thames View Interesting Engraving Of 1800s London
Description
The longest engraving we have ever had if memory serves me well. This example of the Thames from the 1800s shows numerous buildings and locations along the river. There are quite a few as its almost 4m long. How good would this look in a restaurant or pub if someone does not snap it up for long wall in an industrial conversion building. Anyone with a London or Thames interest would surely find this facinating. The engraving is clear and most readable, the frame is good and we suggest done in the 1960s maybe. Inlaid Mahogany Desk Chair / Occasional Chair.
Description
This early 1900s inlaid Mahogany Elbow chair has many potential uses, we feel it would make a great desk chair owing to the well shaped back. It is a great looking example with the turned arm facings and string inlays, enhanced by the fan inlay in the back rail. This chair also makes a great occasional chair in a bedroom or elsewhere if further seating may be required. It is in lovely condition and has just been reupholsterd for sale. Two Edwardian, Sheraton Revival Bedroom Chairs
Description
Two inlaid Mahogany bedroom chairs both Sheraton revival and dating from the early 1900s or possibly late 1800s. They are both nice and clean and ready to take up position in a new home. The upholstery is serviceable but would benefit from a recover to be fair, it is by no means imperative though. Having come with another chair these are priced to be sold quckly we hope and at £100 for the two it is likely that they will go soon. Inlaid Mahogany Occasional Table.
Description
A useful little occasional table from the early 1900s. Can make a great lamp table or side table etc. A versatile little chap that can fit into many places. It is in nice tady condition with an inlay around the top as can be seen in the pictures. The top has been repolished in the recent past and the base is original. It is a most presentable example at a very keen price.

19thC Mahogany Writing Box, With Slope And Drawers
Description
A lovely example of a early 19th Century Mahogany writing box and slope. It has impressive brassware and in my opinion really nice flush side handles. With the military corners and straps it could of course be a campaign writing box, so it may have many a story to tell if it could talk. It does have some wear but overall in good clean condition with a good finish. We have cleaned and rewaxed this so it is ready for a new home. It has a little key but the lock does not seem to be operative, but it has a new leather so that is good and we have fitted a new beize to the base. Inside there is a space for an ink bottle and next to that a space for pens. There is a pin cushion and under the writing slope two little drawers for private bits and pieces. It would be difficult not to be pleased with this for the price which is £370. There are examples out there for twice this price. Give us a call it could make a superb present perhaps.

Gilt Wall Mirror, 19thC Flamboyant Rococo
Description
This Gilt mirror from the 19th Century is flamboyant even for a Rococo example. If you would like a statement piece this is certainly it. A quite unusual size it would fit into many spaces a larger one would not go. It is in pretty good condition considering the amount of detail and the mirror glass is good too. Set Of 8 Cut Glass / Crystal Wine Glasses
Description
A set of 8 cut glass wine glasses which we believe to be Stuart Crystal in the Glengarry design. They are in good condition but a couple of the rims have been refinshed so no chips now. These are or should we say were about £70 each when new but this set of 8 is only £100. Very good value for a quality set. We have also listed a set of 12, quite rare, of similar glasses but the slightly smaller size. A superb Christmas present perhaps and a very keen price.

Set Of 12 Crystal Wine Glasses
Description
A rather rare set of 12 cut crystal wine or claret glasses. I believe these to be Stuart Crystal Glengarry design, they are in good condition and would make a superb Christmas or say a housewarming present for a modest outlay compared to new. Walnut Pier Cabinet 19th Century

This burr walnut pier cabinet dates from the 19th Century and is superb example of the craftmanship of the day. The graining is good as is the colour in the timbers. Attractive Water Colour Early 1900s
Description
A rather pleasing water colour from the early 1900s. It has a mount and is in a good gilt frsme. The colours are good and better than most for its age but there is some foxing. We are led to believe this is somewhere around Marple in Cheshire but are unable to verify. It is a nice size at 50cms across and would fit into many a home well, especially as it is reasonably priced at only £48.

Occasional Table With Carved Top And Base.
Description
In very good condition for one of these tables this ebonised example has good crisp carving not only on the top but on the base platform too. Always a good talking point this almost certainly was an import from Japan in the early 1900s. Many were destined for Libery\'s and this may or may not have been one of them. Good Tapestry In Impressive Frame 1800s
Description
This tapestry is in a most impressive Oak frame from the 1800s. The tapestry itself could be earlier but we have not investigated. Displaying an interesting subject of what appears to be early explorers surveying a landscape from high ground, it has some fade over the years but as can be seen in the pictures it is still clear and undamaged. The frame, is a most unusual shape and has good clean and crisp carving. It seems to be English but could be Flemish perhaps maybe towards French boarder. A rather nice item, keenly priced at only £145.
