19th Century Mahogany Drop Leaf Table, Pembroke
Description
A neat little drop leaf pembroke table. finish is pretty good but it does have marks from use over the last 150 years or so. A nice turned leg and useful little drawer. Either way at £75 for a sold mahogany table that is quite useable and has about 150 years of history its a bargain.

Lovely Quality Inlaid Mahogany Pedestal Desk
Description
This is really rather special, an inlaid pedestal desk from the turn of the century, circa 1900. It is lovely quality with the original handles which are in excellent order and all in place. There is a gallery at the back, also inlaid with two intricately detailed finials at the ends. The black leather is tooled around the edge and the drawers are nice and clean inside and out. The top around the leather has been re French polished in our workshops and the remainder has been cleaned and waxed so all looks really smart. The kneehole is a good useable size at 61cms high and there is an inlaid desk chair that fits with this rather well. It has a splay on the leg as does the desk on its pretty little bracket feet. It would be difficult not to be very pleased with this desk especially at the competitive price.

Antique Fire Grate, With Cast Fender
Description
This is an impressive ensemble comprising the cast fire back with date of 1679. The word 'pax' can be seen in the casting which we suggest was to show relief that the reign on the monarchy was restored. King Charles ll had returned from France and taken up the throne a little while before. The country was getting back to some normality after the Cromwellian era. The actual basket has been replaced in the past and is not buckled, this sits on a pair of matching cast fire dogs. Also included is a cast fender, which on its own can command a price of around £150 to £200, and some seem to be up to £350. This is in great condition with quite a fine casting. The whole ensemble is offered here for £460, the most competitive package we can see anywhere.
