Attractive Water Colour Early 1900s
Description
A rather pleasing water colour from the early 1900s. It has a mount and is in a good gilt frsme. The colours are good and better than most for its age but there is some foxing. We are led to believe this is somewhere around Marple in Cheshire but are unable to verify. It is a nice size at 50cms across and would fit into many a home well, especially as it is reasonably priced at only £48.

French Walnut Dressing Table Mirror Or Overmantle
Description
This nice clean French walnut mirror is intended to fit onto a dressing table or chest of drawers. It has great carving and detail and a nice bevel on the mirror, which is also good and clean. However this example we think could make a superb overmantle, either as it is or it could be finished in Gilt. If the trinket boxes are removed, which is only a lift off operation it could sit over a fireplace and look superb. A gilt mirror that looks this good is likely to cost twice as much or maybe a lot more, depending upon where it is bought.Dont hesitate togive us a call should you wish to discuss. 01565 874075

19thC Mahogany Fusee Wall Clock With Brackets
Description
A very clean and tidy fusee wall clock in a mahogany case from the 1800s. This has good colour and finish, a little sign of wear on the face, it is ticking away merrily. The case has the brackets on the base and a door in the base and the one on the side which carriers the details of Camerer Cuss and co. A London maker with considerable heritage and important exhibition history. The face size is a little uncommon at 10inches and it has its brass bezel in place. A good clock at a very sensible price thatis unlikely to be repeated in a hurry.

Pair Fine Glass Shades
Description
A pretty pair of lamp shades that date from the early 1900s. The right hand one has a couple of small chips which can be seen on the pictures. They are minor and dont really be seen when the light is on. There are also a pair of pinkish coloured ones on our web site. The glass on these shades is really nice and fine and they are not easy to find in pairs. I could not see another pair available upon a quick search a few minutes ago.

19th Century Cream Skimmer Bags Of Character
Description
A well detailed 19th century Brass Cream Skimmer. So much Character with this one. It has had a couple of repairs in its life. Can you imagine the old farmer with four or five cows, a small holding with four or five acres. Not much spare cash and one of the cows stands on the skimmer. The cow gets a wack because he cannot afford a new one and maybe there is not one available at short notice. He roots about in the shed and find a bit of brass and goes off to his pal the blacksmith. The skimmer is heated up and then they solder the pieces back together. After a bit of filing down, he can now skim that nice rich cream off the milk before it goes into the churn. All that for only £35.00. We can package and post for about £10 if required
