This silver coin is a fascinating piece of Maritime treasureIt was recovered from the wreck of the Dutch East Indiaman 'Campen' (Kampen)- which was lost in a violent storm off the Needles (Isle of Wight, UK) on 17th October 1627.
It is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
This piece has come to me from one of the divers who
recovered this treasure (!)
