Very handsome William IV rosewood fold over games table c.1835. Stands flat against the wall as an elegant console table or twist and open the top to make a games table for four people with a circular green baize playing surface for cards. Highly figured rosewood veneers to the top, edges and apron which also features an egg and dart moulding to the bottom. Raised on a hexagonal section column with flared base and larger egg and dart moulding. On a shaped plinth and carved claw feet with castors below. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
