Here is a superb quality antique William IV / early Victorian mahogany leather office armchair, circa 1840. The design is quite unique with a wrap around arms, which are supported by baluster spindles to the seat. The office armchair is upholstered in good quality brown leather the upholstery is in excellent condition. The pad back is connected to wrap around arms and the leather is secured by studwork all around. The serpentine stuffed seat is firm but very comfortable. The seat is connected to the base by four sturdy fluted baluster shaped legs this is typical of the William IV period antique furniture. The legs terminate on brass ferrules with the original mug castors. The chair is extremely comfortable and is very sturdy.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms in the home, especially the office or study as it so comfortable. This item would certainly grace any home. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

The chair and the leather upholstery are in excellent condition. The arms are solid and show no signs of movement. The leather upholstery is clean and is free from wear, tears and dirt. There are no breaks to the arms or legs either. Free of woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use.
