Early 19th.c. Welsh oak box seat armchair or lambing chair c.1820. Simple backrest with an arched and slightly curved top rail over shaped arms with crook ends and turned supports. Hinged seat lifts to reveal useful storage inside. Panelled oak front sides and rear to the box. Excellent colour and condition with a new floor board.
