An unusual Scent Casket., rectangular, with concave sides.Burr Walnut, the Lid cross banded and with Herringbone, Ebony and Boxwood Stringing,closing with a Brass Clip. It opens to reveal Crimson Velvet and Satin Lining in which are seated two finely Cut Glass Scent Bottles, each having their original fact Cut Stoppers. c.1900 I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
