Heavy Bronze Effect Wall Plaque Depicting the Winged Lion of St Mark, Venice


An exceptional and very heavy plaque, it has hanging brackets set into the back and it is finished in a Bronze Verdigris patina

The Lion of Venice is an ancient bronze winged lion sculpture in the Piazza San Marco of Venice, Italy, which came to symbolise the city, as well as one of its patron saints, St Mark who arrived there in the 12th century.

The Plaque is 4” thick, 22” high and 29” wide
