A most unusual and highly collectable desk-top letter opener, made from a hefty piece of English sterling silver hallmarked for London 1978. I suspect this was a corporate gift and the logo engraved is for Britannia Airways. Established in 1961, by 1972, it held the distinction of being the largest charter operator in the United Kingdom.

A rare and usable piece in excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age. 7" x 2 1/2" weighing 73.6 Grams / 2.36 Troy Ounces.
